We are a people that are to be expectant for God to move. We are expectant for God to set the world to rights, expectant for the return of God, expectant for God’s promises, expectant from our history, and expectant even when things look bleak. At least that is how it should be. So much of our expectations have been diminished, ignored, or replaced. Advent is a season of the church for our expectations to be reset again and for our faith to once again be raised in the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
On Sunday, December 24, we will have a joint Christmas morning service at 10 AM. Then, on Christmas Eve Night, we’ll celebrate with candlelight services at 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. May your faith once again be raised in the hope we have in Jesus Christ this Christmas!
