Traditional Worship
Sundays | 11:00 AM
In-Person & Online
Come encounter Christ! Our traditional worship service is a mixture of prayers, psalters, testimony, calls, and creeds. Robed ministers and choir lead the service, challenging us to love and grow in our relationship with God.
Sing favorite hymns of our past, new hymns of our future, and modern choruses old and new – usually accompanied by piano and organ. The Sanctuary Choir sings a mix of anthems from a rich choral past as well as contemporary composers.
This service also highlights occasional special music like cantatas or musicals as well as handbells, vocal and instrumental ensembles, children’s choirs, and soloists.
Are you interested in getting involved in our many traditional worship opportunities? From handbells to choir, we have plenty of fun and engaging worship opportunities for you! Contact our Director Craig Stephan at .
Craig began his fourteenth year at FMC in Fall 2022 and knows with certainty God called him here. Before serving First Methodist Conroe, he led ministries at many other churches (near and far) along a path always connected to his faith. His free time is mostly about family, being the favorite uncle to nieces and nephews, however, he can always make time for great food! “It is a blessing and a joy to be in the midst of this congregation.”
