Rev. Joshua Ray
Student Pastor
Joshua Ray is serving as the Pastor of UpperRoom Student Ministry at FMC. Before serving here, he was the Director of Confirmation at The Woodlands Methodist Church. Joshua is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, and is currently pursuing an MDiv at Baylor’s Truett Theological Seminary in the Wesley House of Studies. Joshua married Madison in spring of 2021. He was born in Guatemala, is a proud Texan, and loves all things British. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing chess, drawing, playing video games and watching movies. His favorite thing to do is to travel. Joshua’s story includes losing his father during college, wrestling with his calling to ministry, but ultimately falling in love with the Gospel and the local church. His passion is to help others grow deep roots in their Christian identity and in the Gospel of Jesus in order to point them to a lasting hope that will be with them all their lives.
