Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me...." (Mark 10:14)
Our nursery is a ministry to our youngest members and we strive to make it an engaging, safe, and fun place for them. We want all of the children who stay in the nursery to have a positive and loving experience.
Our nursery is open during all Sunday morning worship services for the following ages:
- 9:30am - Infants through 2 year olds as of 9/1/17.
- 11:00am - Infants through 4 year olds as of 9/1/17.
Special Events and Classes
Childcare is also offered for special events and classes that happen during the week for children infant through 4th grade. Please let the event facilitator know if you are planning to attend an event and will require childcare. The nursery opens 15 minutes prior to an events beginning.
Upon arrival, parents must check their children in using the check-in kiosk outside the nursery door. Upon checking in, a label will print for you and your child. Place the child label on your child's back. Please save the guardian label since you will need it when picking up your child. Be sure you indicate any food allergies or special needs your child may have when checking in your child.
What to Bring
Please provide diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes in a labeled diaper bag for those children who are in diapers.
For any mother needing to nurse, a nursing room is available in the nursery area for your comfort and privacy.
We need your help
Please inform the caregivers of any allergies your child has. Also, please do not bring sick children. For the wellbeing of all the children in our care, children exhibiting any signs of illness will not be all allowed.
Safe Sanctuary Policy
Leaders in our Children and Youth Ministries must adhere to First Methodist Conroe’s Safe Sanctuary Policy, which includes a back- ground check.
All adult nursery employees are CPR and First Aid certified.
